Do I need planning permission for a garage conversion?

Generally no as most new houses have a permitted development right where you can increase the size of your living space within a certain criteria. We can advise you if we believe you need planning permission and we will take on the whole process for you for a fixed sum.

Do I need building regulations?

Absolutely. We take full control of building regulations and apply for your certificate upon completion; otherwise the local council can ask for a full reversal of works. The certificate needs to be kept with your deeds as it will be required if you sell your house.

How long does the work take?

Each job is individual but we allow approximately 2 weeks. A dedicated team will be allocated to your project and will stay with you for the duration of the job. This team will stay with you until the job is complete.

What happens if electrics or plumbing work is required?

We can carry out all electrical and plumbing work utilising the services of both NIC-EIC and Corgi registered services providing you with peace of mind and the relevant certification documents.
